Sarah Key has new tool to help you mobilise your spine yourself. It is disarmingly low-tech, yet effective - and it's all about the pressure and compliance of a 10cm rubber ball. Who would've thought.
The ball is able to yield properly as your body weight rolls over it (it's no good if it's too painful) while it is also sufficiently local and piercing to get into the nooks and crannies of your spine where the gremlins are hiding.
The piercing low-pressure of the ball pummels stiff spinal links (vertebrae) that need loosening, fibrosed facet joint capsules that are holding the vertebra pegged down and nerve root adhesions that need softening (so they can be re-absorbed). The welcome contact also softens doggedly tight spinal muscles.
By imitating human hands-on pressures, the ball penetrates the spinal architecture right where you need it. It creates a 'sweet pain' while it restores normality of movement where segments are jammed.
